Thanks to an enthusiastic team-mate, we were informed that today would be a pocky-themed day and to come dressed for this. Being a huge Glico fan, I was more than happy to participate in International Pocky Day (11-11-11). As you might have inferred, the digit "1" resembles this much loved Pocky snack.
While I had endeavoured to be suitably decked out, was later informed that my striped raspberry look wasn't an existing Pocky favour. For the record, would like to highlight that this theme should be open to creative interpretation. *hmmph* In any case, it was a fun day of snacking and reminiscing when we were way younger and the available flavours were just chocolate or strawberry.
This is life...the little things that perk up our Fridays. *beams*

In the spirit of reminiscing, decided to go check out old school Pocky commercials. While I didn't find what I was looking for, didn't realise that Pocky now has an edgier vibe while even David Letterman made a spoof:
