Sequel: Dancing Our Way Down the Aisle

We were definitely alot more relaxed during the wedding dinner. Guess it was a mixture of relief that all the stress and madness leading up to the wedding was over AND the anticipation of a holiday to rest was in sight. *happy hops*

In fact, the usually inept, two left feet couple even managed to bop down the aisle to Chris Brown's "With You". As I had been mourning in an earlier entry here, even finding this song had been a nail biting and difficult decision. Thanks everyone for the suggestions though! I believe the diligent exercise paid off and we were quite happy with our final selections. *beams*

For those who missed the spectacle, try to imagine us dancing to this tune:

Other dinner highlights:
  • Having Ed sing to me in three languages - must confess I had difficulty understanding the chinese and what more cantonese song.
  • NOT crying during our speech. *congratulatory pats*
  • Having a friend fly all the way from India just to attend our wedding! *touched*
  • Seeing a friend wear a dress (a FIRST!) to my wedding! *amazed*
  • Being able to briefly catch up with all my friends who were there for me at different stages of my life.

For more dinner action, check out our online album here.

I'm still trying to figure out how to rip portions of my video into an uploadable format so you can see Ed in action. Any suggestions are more than welcomed! Meanwhile, here are the songs by the original singers:

1. Amazed by Lonestar

2. 至少还有你 (At Least I Have You) by Sandy Lam

3. 你的名字,我的姓氏 (Your first name, My surname) by Jacky Cheung

Glad that my friends enjoyed themselves though...suspect this was because half the attendees were from the same organization and it felt like a mini D&D!

As I shared, we felt REALLY loved and blessed during this entire event. Athough we are happy that THE BIG DAY is finally over and married life truly begins, it was a wonderful event that we will certainly remember in days to come...

Thanks everyone for being part of all these beautiful memories! =D

Post note: On hindsight, every little decision we had fretted about seems silly...but trust me..it was so not funny when we didn't have a song and there were a gazillion other un-made decisions.
