"The 3rd wedding anniversary is often when a couple is aware of the durability of their relationship."
Referring to the article here, apparently leather is a traditional gift for celebrating 3rd anniversaries in view of its durability. Indeed, while I didn't get my Miu Miu , our relationship has definitely grown stronger and I like to think that we have reached a deeper level of understanding and reading of each other's temperaments.
Although we had started the year with ambitious plans to do more active couple activities like cooking together (or rather he cooks and I eat), that unfortunately didn't quite pan out. However, we did reach another new couple milestone in making that big decision about moving to Beijing for the next 3 years. In fact, it's beginning to seem like a ride which will slowly but surely gain in momentum starting with Ed's move to China's capital end this month.
With all that to grapple with, we decided to take it easy and do what we do best: stuff ourselves silly in the course of an idyllic afternoon. And what better place to do this at than having the Sunday Grill at The Knolls, Capella. *happy hops*
True to form, there was a good variety of seafood and barbecued meats while the desserts were fantabulous. Enamoured me couldn't stop taking pictures of the lovely spread which tasted as good as they looked! I definitely had a heartstopping foodie moment when I bit into the churros that came with a lusciously thick chocolate dip.
Feast your eyes as follows:
