Touted as a modern interpretation of the quintessential British gourmet pub, I have been reading enough about this restaurant to pique my interest. As a lover of pub grub ie. all things fried, managed to drag Ed there for a drink even though we were really full after a church wedding.
Although the menu appeared a tad limited (a mere 3 pages!), one could possibly argue that it was quality over quantity. As full as I was, managed to find space for their chips with chilli crab dip, which was an innovative take of our beloved Singaporean must-try dish.
Overall, the cosy ambience and location by the waterfront makes this a great place for chilling out after work, a quick lunch stop or if one is simply in the mood to have snacks for dinner.
Chips with chilli crab dip while nursing our Pimm’s & Lemonade and Straits Pale
I'm all set to make a return trip to try the fish and chips, burger as well as bangers and mash...anyone wants to join me?
