We might never have made it to Mimigar outside Gallery hotel if not because the ramen place that we had wanted to try was closed that fateful day. While I do enjoy grilled meats and stewed items especially on a cold day, it was a restaurant that didn't get me overly excited. Perhaps it's just not my type of cuisine.

| Desserts at Laurent Bernard Chocolatier: Their homemade ice cream is really good although it does melt a tad faster than it should. The chocolatey cake/biscuit base dessert was also a great round up to an excellent night. |
Been back to Laurent a few times since and the desserts are happy comfort food. It's a great place to go for chill-out girly conversation or when one wants to nurse a cup of tea and pig out on all things chocolate.
