For fans or viewers of How I Met Your Mother, you might recognize the Beaver song as sung here. A sweet song on friendships where life was alot simpler, where sharing snacks and studying together were part and parcel of building that friendship.
Fast forward 20 years as we grapple with work, family commitments and life. It's so easy to lose touch as we allow the busyness of life to hinder us from catching up. Indeed, we need to be intentional in maintaining friendships and I'm really really glad for the circle of close friends that I have in my life.
