With the promise of "luxurious bespoke meats tailor-made to every individual", one is mentally prepared that such gourmet excellence does not come cheap at
Fat Cow. However, in the spirit of an indulgent lunch, we decided to head on in and relish every decadent bite.
While I rather enjoyed my Hokkaido Don and one can't fault very fresh sashimi, the starters and dessert were not quite my cup of tea through no fault of their chef. As I don't appreciate chawanmushi while milk-based dishes are out of my eating consideration set, the value for me was alot lower than the average diner at Fat Cow.
Hence, while my fellow lunch kakis were happily tucking in, I was left wishing that they had just given me agedashi tofu. I know, such refined food is wasted on me. In any case, it was a nice getaway for us on a busy work day while I was glad for the company.

| exquisite presentation in petite portions [from top-left, clockwise]: starting with tamago, fluffy goodness to whet one's appetite followed by lovingly steamed chawanmushi and our mains, Hokkaido Don and Wagyu Donburi |

Acknowledging that this is not a sustainable lunch option (cost-wise), would like to head back some day to try what they are known for: atelier wagyu cuts at supernormal prices. However, this is best saved for
very special occasions. Otherwise, I would prefer
Aoki in view of their value-for-money lunch sets although I still harbour a soft spot for the now closed
Sushi Yoshida. *wails*
