Mad about Yoshida

Ever since my first visit, the experience at Sushi Yoshida left me so WOW-ed that I have been meaning to go back at another appropriate time ie. when I had time for a nice long lunch, when I'm on leave, for someone else's birthday etc.

In fact, I raved about it so much, it made Rui think this was like my usual haunt. In reality, I somehow never had another opportunity to go back for that much anticipated long lunch.

In view that it was Christmas and a time of feasting, this seemed like a good time as any to indulge and pamper ourselves with a GREAT meal.

The set lunches are really value for money in view of the quality and they start from about $38+++ depending on what you have. My selection as follows:

  • Starter: Cooked egg soaked in wasabi sauce
  • Clear soup containing fish, tofu and seaweed
  • Chirashi
  • Fruits

Just love the seafood! From the fresh scallops, fish roe to the slices of fish as well as the pink floss balanced with some fresh veggies, the whole myriad of flavours never fail to get me going. Although it seems so petitely packaged, its size is deceptive.

Check out the awesome array of sashimi prettily displayed in my Chirashi...

BE WARNED, you will be stuffed...(in a good way!)
