Home Sweet Home

Must confess that I have always felt a tinge of guilt especially when I see Ed eyeing people's homes. At times like this, do feel that I had 'bulldozed' my way into buying our home. As I remarked in an earlier post, Ed had compromised more since he didn't quite get his WIND while I got my SPACE and LOCATION.

After re-visiting our new place a few times, I'm now 95% confident that our place is fairly windy... much more than we realised!! Hence, Ed could actually get what he wanted! What's more, he might now have his wish of regular foot reflexology sessions come true as I spied a soon to be opened shop. *gleeful look* I do want him to like the place as much as I do...and it was all these little subtle reminders that re-assured me this would be a home we BOTH can love.

Imagines all that wind coming our way...

More and more, my doubts are dissipating what with the numerous mini-marts around, a good array of food offerings and the potential this place holds especially with the on-going upgrading works. Although everything looks abit of a mess right now, this can be a really lovely place.

One of my recent finds was a delightful cafe, Peaberry and Pretzel. Highly suspect it's going to become my favourite places for lazy brunches and general chilling. Drool over these scrumptious desserts!! They definitely taste as good as they look:

They are calling my name!!

Sunday Sundaes at $7 only!!!

Scrumptious original tiramisu!

Eyeing all the other desserts I so need to try!

Indeed God is GOOD and I am continuing to give thanks for our new HOME...*contented look*
