The Missing Other Half

Poor Ed has been in the jungle this last week and I have been empowered to make decisions on the house. *hoorah*

The running joke is that when he comes back, the house will be totally unrecognizable. Apparently, I have been accused of plotting to take this opportunity to do what I want when he's not around to refute the decisions. For the record, would like to deny vehemently that I was even contemplating such a ploy. *hmmph*

It's interesting though how Ed seems to have a loyal "auntie" following. Just the other day, this auntie (who shall remain anonymous for now) was asking me how come she has not seen Ed for awhile. Do note that the only interaction he has with her is buying morning coffee! And trust me..she wasn't the first. Nobody seems to miss me THAT much when I'm not around. *mutters*

House renovations though are slowly but surely moving along. Although it no longer looks like a disaster zone, we are still quite far off from the ideal end state.

A cleaner disaster zone

The good news is most of our furniture has been bought...we just need the house ready before we can move them in. Can't wait to start bouncing on my king-sized mattress as well as lounge on my soho daybed. *lalala*
