Staring at the Book of Colours

I'm the sort that reads a restaurant menu from front to back before deciding what to have for breakfast/lunch/tea/dinner. Abiding by the mantra of don't waste calories, it doesn't matter that I might actually end up with the 'usual' order...ultimately, I still want to know what I could have ordered and spend some time deliberating.

Pair this quirky (some say fussy) habit with home renovation and every decision gets more complicated than it should be. Given that I'm the sort who needs to find out ALL possible options and consider ALL factors before making a choice, the ICI Dulux Colour Inspirations book has officially defeated me.

After scanning through this book a couple of times, the myriad of colours one can have despairs me greatly. It really isn't easy trying to decide on the different similar-looking hues and it doesn't help that there are XXX permutations and considerations that one should/need/must (delete where appropriate) note.

A typical decision making process - Ee ponders whether to opt for Dainty pink or Dollhouse pink:

Either I'm taking this way too seriously or I really have a problem with making decisions. *mutters*

Tempted to just place all my preferred colours into an excel template, sort them and run a "random pick". *gahhh*
