As I mentioned before, online shopping is way too easy and efficient for a shopper like me. It has worsened since my earlier post and I'm now a VIP taobao member *gulps*
China is definitely a country where home shopping thrives and one can get virtually anything delivered right to your doorstep. Have heard of fellow Singaporeans who get their toilet paper (and other bulky items) delivered while their food delivery system is quite amazing. Even in the heaviest downpours, restaurants have the ability to deliver the food within 45 minutes (and this is considered late). This is quite unlike Singapore where the moment there's a thunderstorm, Macs or KFC will advise on a 1.5 hours delivery time minimally. *tsktsk*
When it comes to online shopping, it always amazes me how and what we can potentially buy. In fact, I sometimes think people here don't sleep when there are business opportunities. I once ordered my portable vacumn cleaner at 11 pm only to have it arrive the very next morning. As you can tell, I am very much a fan of their delivery systems and processes.
Post setting up of my Chinese bank account to facilitate the online shopping, it has been Christmas every other day. Till the point Ed got alittle concerned whenever I was staring too intently at the laptop while our apartment's receptionists would know what I was enquiring about simply by my appearance.
Must confess, things also got alittle out of hand when I started to go international. Thankfully, I loved those purchases while I

Although the online shopping frenzy has since abated somewhat, I do think that everything I have bought are necessities.
Notwithstanding a minor heart attack when I last checked my bank account balance, it dawned on me that I have a very valid
