The restaurant makes a great venue for romantic occasions especially if one dines al fresco as you can get an ample view of the sea. The food was also decent although everything was so nicely average that I left the restaurant slightly disappointed. Have to qualify though, the less than stellar rating could be a result of higher expectations after my Tippling Club experience.
Nevertheless, there were some meal highlights:
- The pan roasted goose liver was saltily flavourful and I found it fairly palatable which was an achievement in view I don't appreciate liver.
- The squid ink fettucine was also a nice tummy filler and I liked the burst of crab and other flavours as I devoured my plate.
- The molten lava cake made a good ending to our meal and the 'light' coconut ice cream complemented the chocolatey cake nicely.

From top-right [clockwise]: Thinly cut and toasted garlic bread; Panroasted goose liver with “Renette” apples, celeriac cream and port wine and Squidink fettuccine with crab, white wine and peppermint oil

From top-right [clockwise]: Atlantic cod with thyme potatoes and italian parsley sauce; Dry aged prime beef striploin with mediterranean vegetables and pepper sauce and finishing off with Molten lava chocolate cake with coconut ice cream
Overall, still worth a try especially if there's a 1-1 deal!

Thought the food wasn't very good. really average. Nice ambience, but that was about it.
;)
Not sure whether this was because it was a special promotion that resulted in a very average dining experience. Oh well..at least I finally got to try this restaurant! =)
