- All you see and buy at departmental store sales are household stuff. Picture Ee darting around hunting for discounted towels, special priced thermos flasks and comparing prices of water containers versus battering it out at Mango for the best steals.
- You start obsessing about getting the house squeaky clean and attempting to mop the floor REPEATEDLY.
- Weekends are spent just cleaning and running errands for the house.
- You are aching all over from cleaning the house PLUS walking back with the heavy 2kg (felt like 10 kg) laundry rack to STB in the name of saving money.
- You start the habit of keeping all napkins given out in restaurants in the name of reducing wastage.
Yes I know...so much for all those illusions I had about being a glowing bride leading up to the wedding. These days, I just look abit frayed and disarrayed at the thought of everything that remains undone.
Anyways, check out my very pretty spatula and chopping board which I got at discounted prices after fighting through the crowds for them:
It helps that they match my kitchen too! Although, this now means I need to buy non-stick pans/pots in order to use my spatula. *contemplative look*
