Never saw so many people milling around from painters, to carpenters, toilet people as well as the electrician each coming in at their alloted hour to fix up the outstanding stuff. Apparently, this was THE day to get things sorted out.
What fascinated me though was the creation of our false ceiling. A pictorial presentation of the entire process as follows:

[Starting from the left pic] Step 1: Lay out the wire mesh, Step 2: Layer with foil and steel wool I think, Step 3: DONE! We now have a false ceiling and concealed lights.
Some more highlights of house assembling as follows:

Now that our 46 inch LCD TV is in, can't wait for the sound system to be all set up and we can be bona fide couch potatoes.
Our BEAUTIFUL lights for the island kitchen...makes me want to spend more time here!
Must say though, we were really quite redundant and our only value-add was to tell them where to fix our toilet roll holder, heater, shower and other toilet paraphernalia.
Finally managed to decide where each 'part' fitted into a small corner of our toilet.
Unfortunately, we are still not quite done and there are a few more parts to be fixed. However, I can just smell our new home to be. *excited hops*
Stay tuned for Part TWO when we should be finally done!
