I know I like to rave about all that LOVE-VELY food that can be found in the Sunset way area. But what to do..there's just so much to eat! *smug look*
After yet another spot check at our home the other day, we dropped by this zhi-char place at our kopitiam for some comfort food that will warm the tummy especially on a cold rainy day.
For food that is simple yet hits the right spot, head on down to our area:
We waited nearly 20min for our food!! While waiting, I monitored the kitchen's output to ensure that our order was not forgotten....
Finally!! The piping hot, slurpi-licious stock-filled steamboat arrived...
Essential carbo which came in the form of fried mee-sua
Prawn paste chicken - my zhi char staple
This place is definitely a keeper!! Can just imagine myself hopping over to da-bao back our dinners ever so often.
On second thoughts, I'm just speaking for myself. The last we discussed, Ed was still of the idea we cook at least six times a week. *gulps*
[Reference my blog entry here on briding the couple divide.]
P.S If you were wondering why some dish portions seem so small, it's more because I tend to realise only mid-way through the polishing off that I haven't taken a picture. Yes, I suck as a food blogger.
