All in all, it's a very serious business, what with a personalized menu for our perusal and a worksheet for us to make tasting notes. During the 8-course dinner, I had to scribble comments like "too salty", "too spicy", "OK..." or "REPLACE!", after consultation with both sides' parents.
All set to make my tasting notes
At the end of the 2 hour feasting...I think my tummy had just about reached its tipping point...so much for my new commitment towards eating in moderation.
Anyways, happy salivating!
8-course tasting dinner at Fullerton
Clockwise from top left: Starter, Sharks Fin Soup, Steamed Grouper, Dang Gui duck, Wasabi Prawns, Veggie with abalone, Fried rice with fois gras, Cheng Teng lookalike.
My all time favourites were the wasabi prawns and this honey bbq rib which was part of the starters. However, the best part of the meal was when we finished off with a slice of the sinfully yummy strawberry shortcake from the Patissier that was really scrum-ma-licious.
I'm not a cream fan, but this was AMAZING!
