Reflecting the casual, laidback surroundings of Dempseys, we dressed ourselves up based on the theme, Hawaii Lemondrops ie. resort chic wear.
It was a great afternoon out what with the glorious weather, cheery banter and enormous carbo loading. I particularly liked the sweet potato nibblets which had a good balance of salty and sweet while the prawns in my generously portioned capellini were so fresh, I could almost taste the sea. Fine..I might be exaggerating just alittle but my quick sampling of the other mains confirmed my suspicions that their seafood options were generally good. *beams*
Appetizers [starting from top, anti-clockwise]: Truffle fries, Sweet Potato Nibblets, Thai crispy beef salad, Deep sea threesome (grilled prawns, calamari and mussels)
Mains [starting from left, clockwise]: Lobster linguine, Ahi Taki skinny pizza, Squid ink paella, Red snapper, Bay prawn capellini

Besides the pleasure of having a great meal at the end of a long week, it was also a time to celebrate friendship and create more memories. *bliss*
